The project will be delivered under a Cost of the Work plus Fee model with a Guaranteed Maximum Price (GMP) pursuant to Texas Government Code Chapter 2269. Douglas County is soliciting proposals for a Public Safety Strategic Plan to guide future public safety priorities and planning initiatives. The solicitation is currently open to bidders and is hosted on the BidNet Direct Georgia Purchasing Group portal. Interested vendors must register with the portal to access full solicitation documents, technical specifications, and submission instructions.

The City of Eveleth is soliciting proposals from qualified consulting firms to conduct a Public Safety Facility Feasibility Study to evaluate current police, fire, EMS, and EOC facilities, identify space and operational deficiencies, and develop conceptual alternatives with cost estimates. The study will also assess potential integration of public safety facilities into a City Center/Civic Campus configuration and coordinate with City Hall and other municipal uses. Proposals must be submitted electronically and are due by 12:00 PM on Monday, July 20, 2026.

The roster will be used by City departments to select pre-qualified consultants for individual contracts (each ≤ $410,000 and ≤ $819,000 per year per roster category) and is intended to run through December 31, 2030; consultants must meet minimum qualifications including completion of at least three relevant projects.
