Public Safety complex - General contractor/construction manager (GC/CM). Construct a multi-phased replacement of Fire Station 43 over a 15-month period. The existing Silver Star Search and Rescue Building will be used to temporarily relocate the fire station during construction and will require improvements. Demolish existing fire station and site pavement and excavate existing soils. Construct improvements to existing police station including a new community/training room, lobby, fitness room, and break room. Proposed fire station and existing police station will be joined architecturally, both exterior and interior. Police station will remain operational during demolition and construction phases. Extensive coordination is required.

The Alaska Department of Public Safety (DPS) is soliciting contractors to deliver free public Backcountry Safety and Avalanche Awareness training across multiple regions of Alaska to increase safety awareness among outdoor recreationalists. The work includes delivering 2–4 hour classes (minimum fifteen classes per term), coordinating venues and advertising, and covering topics such as avalanche awareness, vehicle and river safety, survival basics, and trip planning. The contract is expected to start about February 1, 2026, run for approximately 17 months with three one-year renewal options, and the proposal deadline is 4:30 p.m. Alaska Time on January 14, 2026.
