The City of Cedar Rapids is seeking Construction Manager at Risk (CMAR) services for the 2026 Northwest Water Treatment Plant Capacity Improvements project. This two-step procurement process involves a Statement of Qualifications followed by a Request for Proposals for shortlisted firms. The project aims to enhance the capacity of the Northwest Water Treatment Plant with a final contract award scheduled for August 2026.

Project consists of demolition. Work will include hazardous materials abatement of lead paint, asbestos-containing building materials, pcb-containing materials, universal hazardous wastes, and other materials requiring special handling and disposal, as well as demolition of existing structures and appurtenances.

Installation of approx. 1,760 LF of 8" PVC sewer line, 475 LF of concrete retaining wall, 650 LF of drainage ditch, 430 LF of curb and gutter, 14 sewer manholes and 3,600 SY of new asphalt concrete access road, and all associated work.

The principal features of the work shall include the installation of a 9,600 gallon #2 fuel oil aboveground storage tank, foundation slab, piping, leak detection and associated equipment, and the in-place closure of two 10,000 gallon #2 fuel oil underground storage tanks.

Chemical Fill Station including replacement of five (5) 2" Diameter chemical pipes, valves, and disconnects, installation of a check valve at each of the five chemical lines, cut and cap the inactive pipes, replacements of concrete pad and bollards, replacement of existing compressed air pipe and hose reel, replacement of existing and installation of new heat trace systems.

The City of Miramar is soliciting bids to replace the existing sand separator at the East Water Treatment Plant, including design, procurement, and installation of a new sand separator system. The solicitation is issued as an Invitation for Bid (IFB) and seeks a qualified contractor to complete the work in compliance with applicable laws and regulations. Bidding opened on 2026-05-05 and closes on 2026-06-04; procurement documents are provided via the buyer's posting on DemandStar.

The City of Durham Department of Water Management is soliciting Statements of Qualifications for professional engineering services to evaluate and design upgrades at the Brown Water Treatment Plant to address filtrate and lagoon decant discharge. The project aims to mitigate hydraulic limitations and potential gravity sewer overflows through preliminary engineering, field data collection, and evaluation of conveyance alternatives. Future phases may include detailed design, permitting, and construction services following the initial technical evaluation.

The work generally consists of removal and replacement of the existing systems on several buildings and roof repairs at six separate buildings. Roof replacement consists of adhered EPDM single-ply and asphalt shingle steep roofing. This project includes interior protection, tear-off, deck replacement, painting, plumbing, insulation, mechanical, vapor retarder, electrical, masonry, rough carpentry, joint sealants, and roof-related sheet metal work.

The Project consists of rehabilitating two water treatment plant sludge lagoons totaling approx. 2.6 acres. Rehabilitation efforts include the installation of new high-density polyethylene liner systems, new concrete sumps, new concrete walkways, new asphalt perimeter road, and the replacement of existing piping and valves.

Work consists of loading, transportation, and disposal of residual solids generated during the drinking water treatment process, containing approximately 2.0% total suspended solids.

Project consists of but is not limited to water system improvements for the city, including site improvements, replacement of the existing aerator at the water plant, installation of a variable frequency drive (vfd) system, clear well/filter improvements including replacement of filter media and underdrain/distribution piping, and installation of an emergency backup generator system at the civic center well. Work includes all labor, materials, equipment, connections, appurtenances, testing, and incidentals required for a complete and operational installation.

The City of Havelock is soliciting fixed-price bids for Bulk Solar Salt to be delivered in approximately 25-ton pneumatic truckloads to the city’s water treatment plant. Estimated usage is roughly 2–3 truckloads per month, totaling approximately 600–900 tons for the contract period ending June 30, 2027. Bidders must provide a Certificate of Analysis for the salt grade and comply with North Carolina procurement statutes, including E-Verify requirements.

Provide professional engineering services for the surface water treatment plant clear well expansion design project.

Supply and delivery of hydrofluorosilicic acid

Concrete trough repair at the water treatment plant.

Water treatment plant polyaluminum chloride stave tank liner replacement. Provide labor and materials to remove and replace the existing PVC liner in one (1) wood stave chemical storage tank used for Polyaluminum Chloride (34%) storage. Work includes conducting a pre-construction site survey, removing the existing liner, preparing the tank, installing protective padding, furnishing and installing a new PVC liner, reinstalling the tank cover, and optional installation of two pre-purchased tank level sensors. Supply and delivery of aqua ammonia.

Complete fabrication and installation of eight new local control consoles (LCC) to replace the eight existing local control consoles, as well as modifications to monitoring and control wiring for valves, backwash and surface wash pumps at the lake gaillard water treatment plant (WTP) facility operated by the authority. The upgrade for each LCC will replace existing LCCS with new consoles and panels. Programming and configuration services will be provided by the owner, or the owner s designated representative.
