Work includes exterior & interior window and door replacement; first floor: demolition of all existing windows. Contractor to note that in some areas (filter room, control room etc. ) window removal will have to be done from exterior side of building. Exterior doors and frames on east side of building (exterior service corridor) to be removed and replaced as indicated on drawings. Refer to specification sections 082220, 085413 and 087100 for door, window and hardware basis of design products/manufactures. Adjacent interior finishes, flashing systems and exterior finishes (siding and trim) that are affected by the window/door replacement work are to be repaired with materials that are similar in kind to the adjacent areas. The City of Bloomfield, New Mexico has issued a sole source procurement (Reference #70-M0009-26-CP283) for the purchase of CATFLOC KL-10, a proprietary coagulant blend used as the primary coagulant at the City's Water Treatment Plant. The contract is for a 12-month period with Nalco Water Company at a value of $211,194.34. CatFloc KL-10 was selected after extensive testing showed it to be the only coagulant effective in treating the source water in the City's Trident treatment plants.
