he scope of work includes, the conversion of the existing 1.0 MG finished water storage tank into a final clearwell with internal baffling, building expansion including installation of new flocculation tanks, lamella type plate clarifiers, and site piping reconfiguration. Flocculation and clarification system upgrades include replacing conventional clarifiers with new Lamella type plate clarifiers, installation of new flocculation tanks with flash mixing, demolition of an existing concrete clarifier, expansion / renovation of the existing water treatment plant building and all general/mechanical construction required. Site construction generally includes exterior and interior piping modifications include relocating finished water piping, new 16-IN raw water feed line, installation of new vaults and modification of existing vaults, demolition of piping to be abandoned, and implementing/maintaining temporary bypass piping.
