Inmate Telephone System RFPs

The Collier County Sheriff’s Office Corrections Department solicits proposals for comprehensive inmate healthcare services covering medical, mental health, pharmaceutical, dental, and substance abuse counseling and requires an electronic health record (EHR) system. The ITS must also include voice biometric technology for initial and continuous verification of the inmate’s voice. Knox County is soliciting proposals for Inmate Communication Services to be implemented at all Knox County Correctional Facilities. The contract is intended for an initial five-year term with options to renew for two additional five-year periods. A pre-proposal conference is scheduled for May 12, 2026, to provide further details to interested vendors.

The State of Tennessee is soliciting bids for a one-time purchase of four Inmate Security Transportation Vehicles with specific technical requirements including Cummins engines and Allison transmissions. These vehicles are intended for use by the Tennessee Department of Correction for institutions and statewide transport. The contract will be awarded to the most responsive and responsible bidder, with delivery expected within one year.

One- time purchase of four (4) Inmate Security Transportation Vehicles (ISTV) deemed critical for the Tennessee Department of Correction institutions and statewide transport of inmates.

Furnish two (2) new thirty-six thousand two hundred (36,200) pound GVWR minimum, rear engine, diesel powered, type d buses.

The removal and replacement of existing boiler equipment that service the County Jail.

Project consists of upgrades to existing security electronics system in a two story, Type I-B construction, concrete and concrete unit masonry jail, I-3 (Condition 5) Occupancy, with fire sprinklers.

Provide jail meals.

Nassau County, NY is soliciting proposals for inmate commissary and inmate banking services for County correctional facilities. The solicitation was listed as open with an open date of 2026-05-15 and a close date of 2026-06-22; full solicitation documents are hosted on the County procurement Vendor Portal and require vendor registration to download. This is a procurement (services contract) opportunity, not a grant program.

Inmate Communication Services

The Florida Department of Corrections (FDC) issued an Invitation to Bid (ITB) to procure custom inmate classification file folders for various correctional institutions throughout the state. The contract term may be up to three years with renewal options, and vendors must be registered in MyFloridaMarketPlace to submit required documentation such as price sheets and certifications. Orders must be delivered within 30 days of a purchase order, and the solicitation remains open for responses until July 31, 2026.

Seeking for inmate commissary services.

Inmate personal grooming supplies on an as-needed basis for detention facilities.

Provide inmate barber supplies.

The State of North Dakota is soliciting proposals for a single vendor to provide a turnkey integrated inmate communications solution including telephone, video visitation, tablets, and a commissary ordering and inventory system. A mandatory site visit is scheduled for June 1, 2026, and the deadline for submitting questions or objections is June 2, 2026. Proposals must be submitted by the response deadline in mid-June to be considered for this procurement.

Work inlcudes construction of a new county jail facility on the site immediately adjacent to the existing county jail. Demolition of the existing jail facility and sealing of the existing security tunnel that connects the existing jail facility to the adjacent judicial complex. The existing facility will be demolished, including removal of the foundations and the removal and capping of the existing utilities. The security tunnel, once sealed at each end, will be fully grouted.
