Fire Alarm System RFPs

The Virginia Department of Transportation (VDOT) Lynchburg District Office has issued an Invitation for Bids (IFB160778) for Fire Alarm & Monitoring Services. The solicitation was officially posted on May 15, 2026, with the bidding period set to conclude on June 8, 2026. Interested vendors must access the official VDOT procurement portal to obtain full solicitation documents and submission requirements.

This solicitation is for a fire alarm upgrade at Building 5413 located at Camp Bullis in San Antonio, Texas. The procurement is designated as an 8(a) Sole Source (8AN) set-aside under NAICS code 561621 for Security Systems Services. Interested parties must access the PIEE system to obtain full solicitation details and submission instructions.

Bedford County, Virginia is procuring fire alarm and sprinkler inspection services through the RNCC Fire Alarm & Sprinkler Inspection contract opportunity. The scope includes professional inspections and related preventive maintenance services for fire safety systems. This solicitation is issued as an Invitation for Bid (IFB) with a deadline for submissions in early June 2026.

Fire alarm replacement. Scope of work for this project shall be limited to the full, comprehensive demolition and replacement of the existing fire alarm system in its entirety. Contractor shall demolish all control panels, communicator / transmitters, notification appliances, SLC devices, isolation modules, duct smoke detectors, pull stations, junction boxes, wire & conduit, and any other associated devices or items. The entirety of the existing med / nurse call system shall also be demolished. See outside link.

Division 05 - Electrical Work. The existing fire alarms at the buildings are non-compliant. In addition, this fire alarm system is no longer supported by the industry and presents a challenge in finding replacement parts. The project includes replacing the fire alarm system as well as removal of the old system. The existing fire alarm systems to remain in place and operational until the new system is fully installed, commissioned and accepted by the University. All existing architectural finishes impacted by the removal of the existing fire alarm equipment, devices, conduit, wiring, boxes, etc., shall be restored/repaired to match surrounding conditions. Furnish and install fire alarm initiation and notification devices and equipment. All existing architectural finishes impacted by the installation of new fire alarm equipment, devices, conduit wiring, boxes, etc. shall be restored / repaired to match surrounding conditions. Numerous areas in the building will require working above standard 8-0. New Fire Alarm Standards will be in place and need to be executed for this project.

Procurement, installation, configuration, testing, and 12-month monitoring services for two Telguard TG7-FS cellular fire alarm reporting (CFAR) devices as part of a pilot project.

To replace the fire alarm system. Consists of the complete replacement of the fire alarm system within a 3 story 65,000 SF +/- building, including devices, wiring, fire alarm panel and related items.

The State of Nevada Purchasing Division, on behalf of the Nevada Office of the Military and the Nevada Department of Adjutant General and National Guard, is soliciting proposals for statewide installation, repair, and maintenance of fire and alarm security systems across Northern, Central, and Southern Nevada. This will be a one-time (1) purchase for a fire alarm panel upgrade.

Provide electrical work on fire alarm systems in the school district's buildings.

Provide a fire alarm inspection via the district when needed. The solution must include inspection of all fire alarm systems throughout the district by NICET- certified technicians.

The New York State Police seeks a scalable, distributed data management and analytics platform for drone detection and situational awareness to enhance monitoring and response capabilities. The resulting contract is planned for a ten-year period of performance and requires compliance with NYS cybersecurity and FBI CJIS standards, with data residency in the continental United States. The procurement is soliciting bids for a counter-UAS detection platform and has an estimated value range of $5,000,000 to $25,000,000.

The contractor shall provide all management, tools, supplies, equipment and labor necessary to repair and maintain all installed co2/no detection systems and kitchen hood fire suppression systems, as well as automatic fire alarm systems. See attached file.

Purchase of new fire alarm systems to replace the existing systems at various libraries for the Facilities Management Division and shall include assessments, permit/shop drawings, installation, testing, and commissioning.
