The North Carolina Department of Military and Veterans Affairs, through the State of NC Construction Office, is seeking sealed lump-sum proposals from a single prime contractor for Phase 2 repairs at the Western North Carolina Veterans Cemetery in Black Mountain, NC. The work at the Chapel includes reroofing with a prefinished standing seam metal roof, replacement of gutters and downspouts, inspection/repair/refinishing of wood fascias and exterior window and door trim, exterior sealant repairs, replacement of exterior wood sills, and application of an interior vinyl window film to a portion of the Chapel windows. Bidders must hold the proper state trade licenses (unlimited General Contractors classification for general contractors), include 5% bid security, and provide 100% performance and payment bonds; bids are due November 17, 2026.
