New York City Public Schools (NYCPS) seeks experienced educators to submit a New School Proposal and serve as the New School Acting Principal Assigned/Project Director for the 2027-2028 school year. The selected leader would help create the school's mission and vision, recruit students and staff, design curriculum and school culture, serve diverse student populations, manage resources, and engage community stakeholders. This is a school-leader proposal and selection process rather than a grant solicitation; applicants must submit a resume, cover letter, and a proposal of no more than 1,000 words, with applications due December 31, 2026.
