The project involves installing two ceiling-mounted, vented natural gas heaters and insulation to provide heat in the sally port area of the customs facility. The contractor will be responsible for supplying all labor, supervision, tools, and materials required, including connecting to existing natural gas lines and performing all necessary trenching and excavation services. NAVSUP Fleet Logistics Center Sigonella, Naples Office (Department of the Navy) is soliciting a single firm-fixed-price commercial services contract for Port Security Barrier (PSB) operations at Naval Support Activity Naples Detachment (NSAND) in Gaeta, Italy, where the contractor must provide all personnel, equipment, supervision, and a seaworthy tugboat for 24/7 on-call opening/closing of the harbor's Main and Side Gates in winds up to 45 knots. The contract transitions under Amendment 0002 to an on-demand service model with response times of one hour for coordination and four hours on-site, and personnel must hold valid Italian boating licenses. The City of Maple Ridge is soliciting tenders under Bid 26-045 from firms prequalified through RFQ 26-034 to construct a new multi-use pathway along Highway 7 from Port Haney Wharf to Kanaka Creek Regional Park in British Columbia. The Department of the Navy, through NAVSUP Fleet Logistics Center (FLC) Yokosuka, is issuing a competitive solicitation for repair of the port anchor windlass capstan on the USS RUSHMORE (LSD-47) while the vessel is homeported in Sasebo, Japan. The scope covers the bulkhead plate and insulation/lagging replacement in compartments 1-115-4-M and 1-116-2-M, with the work to be performed at Commander, Fleet Activities Sasebo (CFAS). Only Master Ship Repair Agreement (MSRA) and Agreement for Boat Repair (ABR) holders authorized to perform ship repair in Japan are eligible to compete, and quotations must be submitted by August 4, 2026.

The City of Mississauga is issuing a Request for Proposals (PRC005458) seeking qualified firms to provide Construction Management Services for the Port Credit Arena Lifecycle Renewal and Decarbonization project located at 40 Stavebank Road North in Mississauga, Ontario. The selected Construction Manager will work concurrently with the design team on this approximately $3.5M project, executing work under a CCDC 5B - 2010 Construction Management Contract. Proposals must be submitted online via the City's bids&tenders portal by the closing date of August 4, 2026.

Work includes approx 4,600 LF of 12" sanitary sewer main including manholes and associated structures; 6,650 LF 12" water main including appurtenances and fittings, and 6,650 LF of 12" fire line including appurtenances and fittings.

Marine Atlantic Inc. is issuing a Request for Proposals for the Port Aux Basques Navigation Improvement Project in Newfoundland and Labrador, Canada. The project's objective is to improve navigational constraints impacting Marine Atlantic's operations and vessel maneuvering restrictions in Port aux Basques Harbour, including the removal of a landmass known as "Vardys Rock" and associated breakwater improvement at "Pikes I." to improve harbour protection and lobster habitat. Construction is expected to take approximately one year, with completion required by the end of Q1 2028.

Work includes construction drainage project including underground storm sewer system approx. 6,800 LF of storm sewer of various size (24 60" pipes) including inlets, junction boxes, and headwalls. The drainage system will also include approx. 5,600 LF of earthen channels of varying sizes.

Work includes : demolition of existing pavement, including required saw cutting; demolition of existing rail; demolition of existing bumping post; grading as required; new rail inclusive of turnouts and extension of existing rail; asphalt pavement; new grade panels, ties and ballast; installation of subbase; geotechnical testing; miscellaneous concrete work; restoration to damaged areas.

The County of Volusia is soliciting qualifications from firms to provide professional engineering design services for the CDBG-DR Port Orange Sleepy Hollow Drainage Improvement project.
