Oswego County is soliciting bids to construct approximately 25.5 miles of aerial and underground fiber optic cable in the Fulton service area, including aerial installation (~17.8 miles), underground installation (~7.7 miles), and splicing work. The contractor will provide all labor, materials (except fiber optic cable), equipment, and incidentals, comply with prevailing wage and insurance/bonding requirements, and complete work by December 31, 2026. Bids are due June 5, 2026 and the posting is listed on the New York State Contract Reporter.

The U.S. Department of State (Embassy of the United States in Kolonia, Pohnpei, FSM) posted a presolicitation for the installation of WiFi infrastructure in the Chancery compound. This is a fixed-price contract opportunity requiring vendors to be registered in SAM and to submit electronic proposals via email with file-size limits; the solicitation page indicates the solicitation was not yet issued on the SAM posting date. The notice shows a published date of 2026-01-14 and an inactive/close date of 2026-08-14, and no primary solicitation attachment is present on SAM.

Work shall consist of extension of existing campus infrastructure including private water and sewer distribution system extensions and a private road extension.

The State of North Carolina seeks contractors to demolish analog surveillance equipment and install a new on-premise IP camera and Video Management System (VMS) at the Longleaf Neuro-Medical Treatment Center in Wilson, NC. Work includes removal of existing cameras/DVRs/cabling, installation of IP cameras, network video recorders, switches, cabling, and all required labor, materials, bonds, and licensing. Bidders must hold a valid NC General Contractor’s license and submit minority participation paperwork and bid security as required.

The Alamo Area Council of Governments (AACOG) is soliciting qualified vendors for RFP-26-01 to provide fiber optic cabling installation, testing, and related infrastructure services to support Joint Base San Antonio (JBSA) installations. This procurement is an Indefinite Delivery, Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract covering multiple JBSA locations with specific requirements for Randolph ATCT towers. The solicitation includes an initial one-year term with four renewal options and requires compliance with site-access security and AACOG vendor documentation.

Oswego County is soliciting qualified contractors to construct approximately 20 miles of fiber optic cable in the Central Square service area using both aerial and underground methods. The county will supply the fiber optic cable while the contractor provides all labor, equipment, and additional materials required for installation, splicing, and testing. Work is expected to be completed by December 31, 2026, and contractors must comply with New York prevailing wage laws and maintain a 5% bid bond.

Downtown redevelopment infrastructure.

Work generally consists of the construction of a new 15-stall asphalt parking lot with concrete driveway including associated site work, resurfacing of the existing main parking lot, resurfacing of the existing basketball court, slurry seal the existing parking lot in front of the basketball court, pavement striping, and replace existing security fencing in various campus locations.

Green infrastructure.

Work consists of construction and installation of potholing, concrete curb ramps, concrete curb and gutter, concrete sidewalk, concrete valley gutter, storm drain inlets, storm drain manholes, storm drain pipe, abandon storm drain pipe, remove storm drain pipe, asphalt concrete removal, hot mix asphalt conforms, removal of pavement markings, installation of new pavement striping and markings, signal modification, pedestrian and traffic control, and other items.

The City of Portsmouth, VA issued an RFP (RFP 320-26 / L176PORTSMOUTH:120953) for a Roadway Infrastructure and Pavement Condition Assessment to evaluate roadway and pavement conditions and related infrastructure. The opportunity is classified under professional services - construction related with NAICS codes including 237310 and has an estimated value range of $250,000 to $1,800,000. Proposals are due 2026-06-23 and the posting is active (posted 2026-05-22).

The Project consists of improvements and repairs to the McNeil Island Ferry and Barge Marine Infrastructure at McNeil Island. It includes improvements and repairs to Marine Timber and Steel Piles, Concrete Floating Docks, a Barge Slip and Barge Mooring Anchors.

Provide infrastructure construction and repair services under a three (3) year term contract. Perform roadway paving and milling, concrete construction, drainage and grading, utility appurtenance work, ADA compliance improvements, and time-and-materials services within the District’s rights-of-way, municipal streets, drainage systems, and utility corridors.

Consists of complete demolition and replacement of all interior finishes, mechanical systems, plumbing systems, electrical systems, along with all new IT infrastructure, and ADA code elements. Providing all technology, network cabling, equipment and installation, furniture, and fire suppression systems.

Work consists of repair damage to existing building infrastructure including the repair of electrical infrastructure and replacement of equipment, wiring and cabling; replacement of the fire alarm control unit, SLC, remote power supplies, and all necessary wiring and connections for repair of the fire alarm system; and interior and exterior lighting control systems, panel boards cabinet, enclosures, switches and circuit breakers and all incidental work associated with the preceding items.

The Sonoma-Marin Area Rail Transit District (SMART) issued a Notice of Intent to award a non-competitive, negotiated purchase order to Knorr Brake Company LLC for specific OEM solenoid valves and pressure switches needed for rail operations. The notice lists quantities and manufacturer part numbers with an estimated total value of $50,401.73. SMART invites vendors who believe they can legally supply the parts to submit a response so the district can determine whether a competitive procurement is warranted.

Sewer lateral line replacement.

Project generally includes removal and replacement of existing water meters of various sizes, installation of advanced metering infrastructure (ami) communication components, replacement of meter box lids and related appurtenances, integration with the city's meter data management systems, testing and commissioning of ami equipment, customer service coordination, restoration of disturbed surfaces, and all associated work necessary to provide a complete and operational ami-enabled water metering system.
