The Pennsylvania Department of Education (PDE) issued this RFP to procure architectural and engineering services to perform K–12 public school facility condition assessments under the federal Supporting America’s School Infrastructure (SASI) grant. Contractors will perform on-site evaluations, analyze major building systems, identify deficiencies, and produce cost estimates and standardized reports for 128 facilities. The solicitation is open with a due date of July 17, 2026, and requires completion of Phase 1 assessments by November 15, 2027.

The City of Gautier, Mississippi is soliciting sealed bids to install a new Advanced Metering Infrastructure (AMI) water meter system to replace approximately 8,000 existing water meters and provide on-site start up and training to deliver a complete, functional AMI system. Key objectives include building internal capacity within the state education agency (sea) by hiring new dedicated staff, collecting reliable school facility condition data from high-need local education agencies (leas) to inform future infrastructure funding decisions, and providing technical assistance to high-need leas to support their school infrastructure needs. To support these objectives, pde has established a list of high-need leas that are eligible to receive services under the sasi grant. These leas are geographically dispersed across pennsylvania and represent a mix of urban, suburban, and rural communities. Participation in the program is voluntary, and pde will engage directly with the qualifying leas to establish their specific service needs and level of participation.

Progressive Design-Build project for new sewer main construction, stream restoration, and stormwater infrastructure analysis and upgrade.

This project intends to reroute a segment of gravity line and replace an existing Pump Station and Force Main serving the I-65 Northbound Welcome Center in Simpson County, KY. The gravity portion will require directional bore under a pavement segment to maintain truck traffic. The manhole immediately upstream of the station will be replaced with a “pretreatment” grinder/manhole combination called a “Muffin Monster”. The current station has developed consistent malfunction and requires the KYTC to mobilize a pump trunk to evacuate the existing pump station wet well at an exorbitant monthly cost. It is suspect the existing force main has developed downstream issues affecting the ability of the existing system to function. The KYTC, through the KY Dept of Finance and DECA, elected to replace the station and force main. A portion of the force main traverse’s private property (KY DOWNS Gaming, Horse Racing and Hotel Complex) and will require a utility easement for new routing until it ends at an existing sewer manhole owned and maintained by the City of Franklin. This manhole will be reconstructed as part of the project.
