Charleston County is soliciting qualifications from engineering firms to provide Construction Engineering & Inspection (CE&I) services for the Maybank Highway Improvements project, which adds a second lane on Maybank Highway (SC 700) from Johns Island to James Island. The contract includes preconstruction support, CE&I oversight with SCDOT-certified inspectors, inspection/testing, verification surveys, and public relations, and has a period of performance of 600 calendar days from Notice to Proceed.
