The City of Federal Way is soliciting architect-engineering (A&E) professional services for the Pacific Highway Non-Motorized Trail Phase 3 and construction inspection. The solicitation is open with a posted start date of 2026-05-08 and closes on 2026-06-05 at 17:00 local time; vendors should consult the City posting for submission instructions and attached RFQ documents. Project will reconstruct Highway MP 14 Railroad Crossing to accommodate Railroad Corporation's project to raise the railroad grade. Work includes grading, drainage improvements, MSE wall, bridge, paving, signing, and striping. The Project completion date will be September 30, 2027.

Work includes approx. 1,490 SF of roadway widening, 835 SF of new sidewalk, 7,225 SF of mill and overlay.

Charleston County is soliciting qualifications from engineering firms to provide Construction Engineering & Inspection (CE&I) services for the Maybank Highway Improvements project, which adds a second lane on Maybank Highway (SC 700) from Johns Island to James Island. The contract includes preconstruction support, CE&I oversight with SCDOT-certified inspectors, inspection/testing, verification surveys, and public relations, and has a period of performance of 600 calendar days from Notice to Proceed. The solicitation requires compliance with Small Business Enterprise (SBE) subcontracting requirements and is expected to advertise the construction phase in Q3 2026.

Washington County Government (MD) issued a public solicitation for the design-build of the Western Section Highway Department Fuel Center (Contract No. MI-WH-316-28) with an estimated value range of $2,500,000 to $8,500,000. Bidders must register on the Washington County bidding portal to access the Invitation to Bid, solicitation documents, and to submit proposals; a pre-bid conference is scheduled for June 10, 2026 (in-person with a virtual Teams option). Proposals are due July 15, 2026 and this is a competitive procurement (not a grant).

The work will consist of the following: base widening, curb and gutter construction, traffic barrier upgrades, full depth pavement to add slip ramp connections, stormwater management facilities and drainage structures, milling and resurfacing, maintenance of traffic, erosion and sediment control, signing and pavement marking, lighting, and landscaping.

The City of Irving Capital Improvements Department seeks qualified civil and multidisciplinary engineering firms to provide design services for installation of a 24-inch water supply pipeline along State Highway 183 from west of Carl Rd. to Tom Braniff Drive. The solicitation is a Request for Qualifications (ID 102D-26F) with a pre-submittal meeting and a public opening of submissions via Microsoft Teams; electronic submission is encouraged. The buyer portal lists detailed specifications and attachments but documents require portal access to view.

Project consists of safety improvements, traffic signal system by installing new signals, incorporating flashing yellow arrows for left-turn movements, and upgrading pedestrian signal equipment. Additional improvements include upgrading of ADA-compliant curb ramps, and targeted crosswalk illumination to improve pedestrian visibility. These enhancements are intended to increase overall intersection safety by improving signal visibility, reducing conflict points, and providing safer, more accessible pedestrian crossings.

The work consists on drainage improvement by extending existing Concrete Box Culverts (CBC) up to the Clear Zone at five locations within the project limits. The work also includes replacing existing pavement, removing existing guardrail and replacing existing fence, placing riprap, pavement marking and other related work.

This project will retrofit catch basins / curb inlets along both sides of NE Highway 99 between NE 78th Street and NW 86th Street by installing storm filter cartridges to provide water quality treatment. This project will also retrofit cat basins / curb inlets along both sides of NE Highway 99 from around Hazel Del Plaza to around NW 102nd Street (minus 99th Street) by installing storm filter cartridges to provide water quality treatment. Primary bid items: traffic control, ITS relocation and replacement, sewer pipe, stormwater vault, stormwater filter catch basins, HMA CL 3/8", concrete curb and gutter, concrete sidewalk.

The Maryland Department of Transportation State Highway Administration is soliciting construction services for improvements to U.S. 219 in Garrett County, covering approximately 2.30 miles of roadway. The project scope includes asphalt patching, resurfacing, milling, and the installation of a center turn lane, bicycle lanes, and pedestrian refuge islands. Electronic bids are required to be submitted via the Bid Express portal by the deadline of June 11, 2026.
