Seeking industry insight and innovative approaches to support the future of the Commonwealth Link to Interoperable Communications (COMLINC) system. COMLINC serves as the Commonwealth's statewide interoperability solution, enabling seamless communication between disparate radio systems across Virginia. Its core mission is to provide a reliable, secure, and flexible environment that allows public safety agencies to connect, coordinate, and respond effectively. Through this Request for Information (RFI), VSP invites suppliers to share capabilities, emerging technologies, architectural approaches, and best practices that could strengthen or modernize the COMLINC system. Responses will help shape future procurement strategy and ensure the Commonwealth continues to deliver robust, interoperable communications for public safety partners statewide.

Northern Virginia Community College issued an Invitation for Bids (IFB) A280NVCC:119037 for the demolition of existing two-way communications systems and the installation of new systems across multiple campuses. The project has an estimated value range of $5,000,000 to $10,000,000 and is classified as a construction/communications systems procurement rather than a grant. Bids are due by June 1, 2026, following the initial posting on May 1, 2026, on the Virginia eProcurement portal.

Develop and implement a comprehensive communications, education, and branding strategy to elevate visibility and public engagement of the city of los angeles workforce development board (wdb). The City of Claremont seeks proposals for the design, installation, configuration, and support of a modernized Axis Communications-based badge access control system across multiple facilities, including new door installations, card reader upgrades, and credential provisioning.

The Salt Lake Valley Emergency Communications Consortium (SLVECC) is soliciting proposals for a tow application services platform to manage approximately 55,000 annual towing events across Salt Lake County, including rotation management, dispatch- and officer-initiated tow workflows, private property impound processing, compliance documentation, and public vehicle search capabilities. The procurement requires vendors to demonstrate at least three years of comparable public-sector/public-safety experience and capacity to support the stated event volumes; evaluation is multi-phased with weighted scoring across technical, implementation, interoperability, operational alignment (including Senate Bill 242 readiness), vendor qualifications, and proposal quality. Critical dates include a questions deadline (May 22, 2026 at 12:00 PM MST), sealed technical and cost proposals due to SLVECC physical address on June 12, 2026 at 2:00 PM MST, and an online/aggregator due date shown as June 12, 2026 (10:00 PM) on the listing; vendor demonstrations are scheduled June 22–25, 2026 with an anticipated award announcement June 30, 2026.

The City of Philadelphia Department of Aviation seeks qualified applicants to provide on-call public relations and communications support for Philadelphia International Airport (PHL) and Northeast Philadelphia Airport (PNE). Services include communications strategy development, media relations, social and digital content, speech and presentation drafting, event coordination, and stakeholder engagement. The contract is anticipated to start on or about September 1, 2026, run through August 31, 2027, with options for up to four one-year extensions.

The Space Acquisition and Integration Office (SAIO) of the U.S. Department of Defense is seeking industry input via a Request for Information (RFI) for the Communications, Network, Engineering, Cybersecurity, and Information Technology Services (CNECTS) contract, an estimated $300M–$360M program. The government is requesting industry feedback on acquisition strategy, evaluation criteria, and risk assessment and will host an industry day and limited one-on-one sessions in Colorado Springs. Registration for the industry day is required by February 23, 2026, with the event scheduled for March 11, 2026.
