Services include all equipment, materials, labor, transportation, and disposal of waste and/or recycling from each location, awarded as a single Invitation for Bids (IFB) under Project No. 2026-097. Bids must be submitted electronically through the Bonfire procurement portal, with vendor questions due by 4:00 PM EDT on July 27, 2026, and bids due by 2:00 PM EDT on August 4, 2026.

Provide waste and recycling collection services.

Hillsborough County's Engineering and Operations Department is soliciting proposals from experienced and qualified consultant firms to provide professional engineering and technical services for the operations, permitting, design, planning, inspection, and assessment of the County's Waste-to-Energy (WTE) Facility, the Resource Recovery Facility (RRF), and other Solid Waste Management Systems. The estimated contract value is $6,000,000. Proposals must be submitted via the County's procurement portal by July 24, 2026, at 2:00 PM EDT.

The Borough of Somerdale, in Camden County, New Jersey, is soliciting sealed bids from qualified contractors for Solid Waste Disposal Services for the Borough. Bids must be enclosed in a sealed envelope labeled 'Bid for Solid Waste Disposal Services, Borough of Somerdale' and accompanied by a bid bond, cashier's check, or certified check for not less than 10% of the amount (calculated by multiplying the Year 1 bid price by 2,500 tons, not to exceed $20,000), payable to the Borough of Somerdale. Specifications are on file at the Borough Clerk's Office at the Somerdale Borough Municipal Building; bidders must also comply with the State of New Jersey Public Works Contractor Registration Act and possess a valid NJ Business Registration Certificate.

This is a requirement for management of solid waste (municipal solid waste (msw), scrap metal, construction demolition debris (cdd), and single stream recycling (ssr). To provide support for solid waste management, the collecting and disposing Municipal Solid Waste (MSW) and Construction and Demolition Debris (CDD), and Source Separated Recycling (SSR). In addition to routine waste management services, the contractor shall support the relocation of waste collection infrastructure upon completion of the Southern Expansion project.

Montgomery County, Maryland is seeking proposals for Municipal Solid Waste Sorting and Recovery services (RFP #1195755) to support the County's zero waste, climate, and circular economy goals by minimizing the quantity of municipal solid waste requiring disposal. The County is considering additional technologies and processes that can sort MSW to extract recyclable materials and organics for recovery through recycling and diversion, while residual material not recovered will be properly disposed under a separate contract. Offerors must attend the recommended pre-solicitation meeting and site tour, and the solicitation will remain open for approximately 60 days with questions accepted per the timeline on page 1.

Knox County is seeking proposals for Solid Waste Disposal Services.

The Kodiak Island Borough is requesting proposals from qualified firms for solid waste collection services covering the Kodiak Island Borough and City Road System. The contract includes an initial five-year term from July 1, 2027 to June 30, 2032, with options for up to two additional one-year extensions. A mandatory pre-proposal conference is scheduled for June 30, 2026, with proposals due by August 4, 2026 at 2:00 PM local time.

The City of Reidsville (Georgia) is soliciting sealed bids for the collection and disposal of residential and commercial solid waste within the city limits. Bid specifications and proposal documents are available from the City Clerk (contact listed) and bids must be sealed and received by 5:00 pm on August 31, 2026. The city reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to accept the bid in the city's best interest; a budget estimate is given in the posting in the range of $500,000–$2,000,000 per year.

The School District of Palm Beach County has issued an Invitation to Bid (Solicitation No. 26C-69C) seeking a vendor to provide Electronic Waste Recycling services for the district. The contract is intended to establish a term contract for the secure and responsible recycling of electronic waste generated at district facilities and schools. Pricing and proposals must follow the specifications provided in the solicitation documents accessible through the district's official BidNet Direct portal.

The City of St. Petersburg issued an RFP (RFP-26-275) titled "Transportation & Yard Waste Recycling" seeking vendors to manage recycling of unprocessed yard waste from two City brush sites, including use of open-top tractor trailers for transportation and inspection of material for contaminants. The initial contract term is three years with the City reserving two additional one-year renewal options, and services are to be performed at two specified St. Petersburg brush sites. Vendors must have a minimum of five years' experience, access to state-permitted processing facilities, maintain required insurance and wage compliance, and provide backup equipment and personnel for emergencies or high-volume periods.

The City of Lethbridge is seeking a qualified service provider to supply trained labour and support personnel for operations at the Lethbridge Waste and Recycling Centre in Alberta, Canada. The solicitation is issued as an open and competitive Request for Proposal (AB-2026-04933, internal reference COL-26-114), with an estimated contract period running from September 1, 2026 to December 31, 2026 (approximately 17 weeks).
