Saguaro National Park (SAGU) is soliciting a service contract for collection of solid waste and commingled recyclable waste from its two districts (Rincon Mountain District and Tucson Mountain District). The procurement is an RFQ (Solicitation 140P1526Q0099) for a Base Year (anticipated 2026-08-01 through 2027-07-31) plus four option years. The solicitation was posted on 2026-05-19 and proposals/offers are due on 2026-06-18 at 12:00 PM MDT.

The general scope of services includes the disposal of solid waste from the transfer station.

Solid Waste Transportation Fuel for Metro Waste Prevention and Environmental Services (WPES). Proposals are due as indicated on the RFP cover page. Metro intends to award a contract to a single firm to provide the required services. The anticipated term of the contract is June 2026 through December 2031, with the option for extensions of up to two additional years at Metro’s sole discretion.

Transport and disposal of solid waste.

The County of Ventura (General Services Agency) is soliciting bids for E‑Waste Recycling services to collect, transport, process and recycle electronic waste from County facilities, ensuring regulatory compliance and transparent reporting. The solicitation requires vendors to furnish containers, provide monthly CalRecycle transfer receipts and annual reports, and deliver the highest available market price to the County for recyclable categories. The contract's period of performance is expected to begin July 1, 2026 and run through June 30, 2029 with possible extensions; questions are due mid-June and bids are due late June 2026.

Kent Intermediate School District issued an RFP for 2026 Waste and Recycling Disposal Services seeking vendors to provide waste and recycling disposal services for district facilities. The opportunity was posted to Michigan’s SIGMA/Advantage procurement portal and is listed as an open Request for Proposals with NAICS 562219 and PSC classifications for waste collection and treatment. Bids are due in early June 2026 and responders must retrieve the official solicitation on the SIGMA/Advantage site using the Opportunity ID.

The Town of Shelton (CT) issued an Invitation to Bid for transport and disposal of bulk waste and municipal solid waste, with work performed in Shelton, Connecticut. The solicitation is managed through the City of Shelton’s OpenGov procurement portal and requires vendor registration on that portal to access bidding documents and submit responses. Bidding is open now and the response deadline is June 16, 2026 at 11:00 AM EDT.

Provide comprehensive environmental monitoring services at four (4) solid waste disposal facilities. The scope of work includes groundwater and surface water monitoring and air quality (landfill gas) monitoring programs conducted in accordance with applicable Maryland Department of the Environment (MDE) directives and regulatory requirements. The National Park Service is soliciting commercial solid and green waste removal services at Pearl Harbor National Memorial in Honolulu, HI, covering a base year plus four option years. Services include daily collection of a 6-cubic-yard commercial garbage container, weekly collection of a 20-cubic-yard green waste container, bi-weekly cardboard recycling, maintenance and annual changeout of containers, and contractor-responsible disposal in compliance with regulations. The City of Derby, Kansas seeks proposals from qualified vendors to provide residential solid waste and recyclables collection and transportation services under RFP #2026-015. The contract term sought is an initial seven years with possible one-year extensions, and services include weekly refuse collection, biweekly recycling, and bulky waste collection.
