Municipal Solid Waste Sorting and Recovery

Description: Montgomery County, Maryland is seeking proposals for Municipal Solid Waste Sorting and Recovery services (RFP #1195755) to support the County's zero waste, climate, and circular economy goals by minimizing the quantity of municipal solid waste requiring disposal. The County is considering additional technologies and processes that can sort MSW to extract recyclable materials and organics for recovery through recycling and diversion, while residual material not recovered will be properly disposed under a separate contract. Offerors must attend the recommended pre-solicitation meeting and site tour, and the solicitation will remain open for approximately 60 days with questions accepted per the timeline on page 1.
