Provide recreational and placemaking services that attract positive activities in its parks and enhance the park visitor experience. The Parks Division strives to provide affordable opportunities for recreational experiences, however, does not itself offer many recreational programs. Instead, the Parks Division relies on community partners to provide and manage park-based recreation and placemaking activities. This RFP seeks new or expanded recreation ideas that align with City’s commitment to equity, inclusion, innovation, and well-being. These services may include but are not limited to instructional programs, concession operations, and other innovative community, recreation, and park placemaking concepts. The purpose of this RFP is not to replace the current Parks Division permitting process or currently existing agreements. Successful programs will typically be longer-term in nature, and do not fit neatly into the existing park permitting framework.

Summit Metro Parks announced it will use internet auctions during 2026 to dispose of unneeded, obsolete, or unfit park district property. Auction listings will be posted through Farnsworth Auctions/Proxibid and GovDeals, with each auction running at least ten days. The authorized period for these auctions runs from January 14 through December 31, 2026, as noticed in the Akron Beacon Journal legal notice.

Qualified firms to develop a pool of state certified or licensed general property appraisers for inclusion in the State Parks List of Approved Appraisers. Appraisal services are required for a variety of purposes, including fee-simple acquisitions, or less than fee, such as, lease, transfer, and impressment of easements.

The Louisiana Department of Wildlife and Fisheries (LDWF) is soliciting bids for the purchase of alligator harvest tags for use on various state parks and public lands. The contract covers the supply of CITES alligator tags needed to support the state's 2026 alligator harvest programs, including the commercial lottery hunts on WMAs, public lakes, USACE properties, and refuges.
