Provide large education research grants: program aims to support rigorous, intellectually ambitious, and technically sound research that is relevant to the most pressing questions and compelling opportunities in education. The foundation aims to support scholarship that develops new foundational knowledge that may have a lasting impact on educational discourse. The program supports proposals from multiple disciplinary and methodological perspectives, both domestically and internationally, from scholars at various stages in their career.

ARPA-H’s Intelligent Generator of Research (IGoR) solicitation seeks multidisciplinary teams to develop an AI-enabled interoperable research ecosystem including mechanistic disease models, an AI orchestration layer, a layered protocol architecture, and a distributed marketplace of validated laboratories. The program is a five-year, three-phase effort with ARPA-H anticipating awards to approximately three teams; SAM.gov lists full solicitation materials (multiple appendices) as public attachments. The solicitation is a federal procurement (solicitation ARPA-H-SOL-26-155) with proposal instructions and deadlines posted on SAM.gov.

The Intelligent Generator of Research (IGoR) program aims to eliminate longstanding inefficiencies in research and accelerate the development of effective therapies for complex diseases by creating an AI-enabled interoperable research ecosystem. IGoR would develop: 1) mechanistic disease models that encode causal biological relationships across scales, 2) an AI orchestration layer that identifies knowledge gaps and designs optimal experiments, 3) a layered protocol architecture that enables any qualified laboratory to execute the same experiment reproducibly, and 4) a distributed marketplace of validated laboratories that execute standardized protocols and return gold-standard data. Together, these components form a cycle of hypothesis generation, experimentation, and model refinement that enables researchers to create validated knowledge at least 10x more rapidly than conventional approaches. Ultimately, IGoR will empower researchers at every level to pursue bold, unconventional research directions that are currently too slow, too complex, or too resource‑intensive.

The project consists primarily of renovation of existing agricultural facilities and improvements to building envelopes, roofing systems, and supporting building system.

Proposals may focus on research and/or education projects to enhance control measures of vertebrate pests that pose a significant threat to the welfare of state’s agricultural economy, infrastructure, environment, and the public. CDFA does not support proprietary product development projects. Proposals that originate from outside of California are considered if the proposal includes relevance to vertebrate pest concerns within California. The funding amount is $200,000.

The Secretary of the Air Force Concepts Development and Management (SAF/CDM), Office of Commercial and Economic Analysis (OCEA) issued a Commercial Solutions Opening (CSO) titled Commercial and Economic Research and Innovation (CERI) seeking innovative commercial solutions and data-driven research to identify and mitigate commercial and economic risk to military advantage. The CSO uses an open two-step process (white papers first, then full proposals) and anticipates multiple awards under FAR or Other Transaction Agreement authority. The CSO has an open period for white paper receipt through 2026-09-01 and an ordering period through 2026-09-30, and the government may issue amendments during the open period.

The Florida Department of Law Enforcement (FDLE) issued a single-source solicitation to procure forensic-grade DNA testing, DNA extract evaluations, and genetic genealogy research to support identification of missing and unidentified persons. The procurement is intended as a single-source award to Othram, Inc. for services performed at FDLE regional operations centers, with a period of performance from July 1, 2026 to June 30, 2029. Responses open May 11, 2026 and are due June 2, 2026, and the estimated value range is listed as $250,000–$1,500,000.

Alaska Industrial Development and Export Authority (AIDEA) solicits proposals for public opinion and policy research services to assess public awareness, perceptions, and attitudes related to AIDEA’s mission and projects. The scope includes research design, data collection (surveys, interviews, focus groups), analysis and reporting, and consultation; the anticipated period of performance begins July 1, 2026 through June 30, 2027 with options to extend. Proposals are due June 9, 2026 and the notice is posted on the Alaska Online Public Notices site.
