Design Build-the major m&r and expansion project involves a comprehensive renovation and expansion of the existing facility. The project scope encompasses addressing hazardous materials (asbestos, lead, mold, lead in soils), installation of temporary improvements at a nearby site to accommodate the cdc program during the renovation, new utilities, electrical systems, interior and exterior lighting with led fixtures, telecommunications infrastructure, and prefabricated storage buildings, once the renovation is complete and the program has moved back, all temporary improvements will be removed. The project aims to increase the cdc's capacity, improve safety and security, enhance energy efficiency, upgrade play areas, and ensure compliance with current codes and standards.
