The Naval Surface Warfare Center Carderock Division (NSWCCD) is conducting market research via a Sources Sought / RFI to identify qualified sources for machining and fabrication of nickel aluminum bronze (NAB) canisters and precision-turned piece parts for the Virginia-Class propulsor manufacturing program. Responses are due electronically by 5:00 PM EST on 2026-02-06 and should include company contact, CAGE/DUNS, size status, capability statement, and comments on delivery schedule. The Government anticipates a future single-award, five-year Firm Fixed Price IDIQ under NAICS 332721 and will use RFI responses to determine whether a Small Business/Socioeconomic Set-Aside is appropriate.

The Department of the Navy issued a special notice for the procurement of 57mm Target Practice (TP) Cartridges under solicitation N00174-26-R-1009, announcing intent to award a five-year IDIQ contract.
