The AOC requires a contractor that can fulfill the following requirements: Currently in the business of collecting, recycling and processing scrap metal; Provides the basis of payment and can provide the current rates and the rate basis (which market is used to come up with rates and defined update frequency); Has at least one facility within 25 miles of the center of the District of Columbia Washington, D.C.); Able to negotiate payment terms and can work within the federal payment system. Have the capacity to furnish all labor, tools, materials and equipment for the collection and recycling of scrap metal from the Capitol Campus: Furnish Containers: The Contractor shall provide exterior scrap metal containers at various AOC-managed locations for the collection of recyclable materials (see Section 9.0, Place of Performance/Hours of Operation). Containers must be appropriately sized to meet site-specific needs, and the Contractor must remain flexible to exchange containers upon request. See attached file.
