The Massachusetts Emergency Management Agency (MEMA) is soliciting vendors to provide event and emergency field catering services, temporary tent rentals (including temperature control, flooring, lighting, dividers, and barriers), and temporary sanitation rentals and services (portable toilets, sinks, shower trailers, and hand-wash/sanitization stations). These services must be available on short notice, potentially 24/7 for extended periods, and scalable to serve roughly 10 to 500 individuals per event.

Work includes design and implementation of security upgrades. Pecifically, seven (7) pedestrian gates will be modified to transition from push-button locks to hard-wired access control systems. Additionally, three (3) automatic gates will be upgraded from wireless access control to hard-wired systems. The project also includes trenching and installation of duct banks to provide necessary power and data connections to support the upgraded systems.

Effingham County School District (GA) is soliciting competitive proposals for staffing contracts to supply qualified personnel, including paraprofessionals, school nutrition workers, custodians, and childcare workers. Proposals are due by 2:00 PM on May 1, 2026, and submissions may be delivered in person or by mail to the district office in Springfield, Georgia. A mandatory pre-bid meeting will be held on April 15, 2026 at 2:00 PM (virtual option available with required registration), and official responses will be issued via addendum to registered participants.

The notice states unilateral contract closeout will begin ten business days after posting and instructs affected vendors to contact the listed point of contact if they prefer a bilateral closeout modification or have a valid reason not to proceed. The notice lists affected contractors and periods of performance and provides a response deadline for vendors to raise objections or request bilateral closeouts.
