Collection and Disposal of Solid Waste.

The Department of Conservation and Recreation is seeking a contractor to provide refuse collection and disposal services, including collection and disposal of non-hazardous waste and provision of necessary equipment and personnel. The solicitation will follow Commonwealth terms and conditions and the posting references contract payment terms and an estimated budget range.

Sussex County is seeking proposals for comprehensive ambulance billing, collections, and payment processing services for Basic Life Support (BLS) ambulance operations.

Solid Waste & Recycling Collection.

The Kodiak Island Borough is requesting proposals from qualified firms for solid waste collection services covering the Kodiak Island Borough and City Road System. The contract includes an initial five-year term from July 1, 2027 to June 30, 2032, with options for up to two additional one-year extensions. A mandatory pre-proposal conference is scheduled for June 30, 2026, with proposals due by August 4, 2026 at 2:00 PM local time.

Work includes approx 9,900 LF of 8" SDR PVC gravity sewers; 85 LF of jack and bore (20" casing with 8" carrier); 1,540 LF of directional bore force main; 14,050 LF of 8" video sewer.

Collection and recycling of batteries and lead materials. Collection, transportation, recycling, processing, and disposal of batteries, embedded battery devices, and recyclable lead-containing materials through a structured price review process over the life of the contract

The Town of Oxford (MD) is soliciting proposals for yard waste removal and bulk collection services (RFP ID BPM057757); contractors may bid on any portion of the requested services. A mandatory pre-bid meeting is scheduled for July 6, 2026 at 10:00 AM at 101 Market Street, Oxford, MD; the last day for questions is July 10, 2026. Sealed bids are due July 24, 2026 by 10:00 AM local time and bid documents must be obtained from the Town Manager (email oxfordmanager@oxfordmd.gov or via the Town's bids page); no buyer-hosted solicitation file was found online in the reviewed sources.

The City of Saraland, Alabama is soliciting sealed proposals from qualified firms for the provision of storm debris collection monitoring services following storm events. The selected contractor will monitor storm debris collection operations to ensure compliance with contract requirements and accurate reporting of debris volumes. Sealed proposals must be received at the office of the City Clerk at City Hall in Saraland, Alabama by the deadline of 2:00 PM (Local Time) on Thursday, July 23, 2026.

Hazardous waste collection and disposal services.

Augusta County Service Authority (dba Augusta Water) is soliciting quotes for a one-day Household Hazardous Waste (HHW) Collection Event to be managed at the Augusta Regional Landfill and serving residents of Augusta County, Staunton, and Waynesboro. Contractors must provide staffing, safety oversight, waste containers, transport, and proper disposal services for the event scheduled for September 12, 2026, 8:30 AM–12:00 PM at the Waynesboro City Shop (900 Essex Ave, Waynesboro, VA). Quotes are due July 23, 2026; bidders should consult the buyer-managed posting (URL above) for full solicitation documents and submission instructions.

The City of El Cajon is soliciting bids for an annual contract (Bid #009-27) to provide daily and as-needed abandoned property collection, trash and debris removal, and general cleaning services within the public right-of-way throughout the city limits. The contract is for one year with four one-year renewal options and includes bidder requirements such as specified insurance and bid security. Electronic bids are due on the stated due date and bidders must follow proposal forms and response instructions available on the buyer's documents tab.

Collection and marketing of recyclable materials.

RFP 40-26 from the City of Vancouver, Washington seeks proposals from qualified firms to provide consulting services to evaluate the performance, effectiveness, and alignment of the City's current Comprehensive Garbage, Recyclables, and Organics Collection Services Contract (2019-2030) with Waste Connections of Washington, Inc. A non-mandatory pre-submittal meeting is scheduled for July 22, 2026, with a question deadline of July 24, 2026. Proposals must be submitted electronically through the City's Bonfire Procurement Portal by 3:00 PM PDT on August 5, 2026.

The Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT) – Austin District is soliciting responses to establish a contract for recycling collection services to serve facilities within the Austin District. The solicitation includes an IFB, Statement of Work, Pricing Schedule, and required submission forms and explains required submission sections and formats. The IFB is open now: vendor questions are due July 21, 2026 and final submissions are due July 30, 2026 at 10:00 AM CDT via the agency procurement portal.
