The Pennsylvania Department of Education (PDE) issued this RFP to procure architectural and engineering services to perform K–12 public school facility condition assessments under the federal Supporting America’s School Infrastructure (SASI) grant. Contractors will perform on-site evaluations, analyze major building systems, identify deficiencies, and produce cost estimates and standardized reports for 128 facilities. The solicitation is open with a due date of July 17, 2026, and requires completion of Phase 1 assessments by November 15, 2027.

The NYC Department of Design & Construction is soliciting proposals for infrastructure and safety improvements for schools in the Borough of Queens, including the design and construction of crosswalks and traffic calming features. The project, identified by EPIN 85026B0094, has an estimated contract value between $5,000,000 and $25,000,000. Construct access control security upgrades.

The City of Seattle, through Seattle Public Utilities, is soliciting proposals for a three-year Solid Waste Outreach program serving Seattle Public Schools and private K–12 schools to provide recycling, composting, and waste-prevention education. The selected consultant will develop and implement K–12 lesson plans, provide technical assistance to school staff, and set up tracking, evaluation, and reporting systems to measure program effectiveness. The work is expected to run from fall 2026 through 2029 with an estimated value range of $150,000–$600,000.

School staff will clear walls and place furniture in the center of classroom before painting begins. Where classrooms are being painted, work shall include closets, window and door trim, windowsills, and built-in cabinets, but not other furniture or doors themselves.
