The University of Waterloo has issued a Request for Bid (RFB) for the construction and installation of a new dry room at its Energy Research Centre (ERC) in Waterloo, Ontario. The solicitation falls under the Canadian Free Trade Agreement (CFTA) and full bid documents can only be retrieved through the University's Bonfire procurement portal. Bids were published on June 24, 2026, and must be submitted electronically with a closing deadline of July 23, 2026, at 3:00 PM EDT.

This RFP is for commercial energy efficiency products, specifically Commercial LED Pole Mounted Lighting, Electric Vehicle Charging Equipment, and Heat Pump rebates.

Through this program, owner will provide funding to clean energy businesses interested in hiring interns to perform meaningful work in the clean energy sector. With this Program Opportunity Notice (PON), both clean energy business and interns can apply to participate in the program. The contractor will be responsible for developing comprehensive energy and water plans that align with the Army's sustainability objectives, including conducting energy assessments, providing engineering and architecture services, and ensuring compliance with Department of Defense regulations. The services will be performed in Montana at various locations associated with the MTARNG, with a contract value estimated between $180,000 and $650,000.

Charleston County Human Services dba Palmetto Community Action Partnership is soliciting BPI Certified Energy Auditors and Quality Control Inspectors for its Weatherization Assistance Program, requiring active Building Analyst (BA) or Energy Auditor (EA) certification and IREC-accredited Quality Control Inspector certification, plus liability and workers' compensation insurance. The work includes conducting energy audits, inspecting homes, and ensuring weatherization work meets program standards. Proposals are due August 1, 2026 at 5:00 PM ET.

The Department of Energy, through the National Reactor Innovation Center at Idaho National Laboratory, issued a Request for Applications (RFA) to establish the Nuclear Energy Launch Pad to accelerate private-sector deployment of advanced nuclear technologies. The RFA describes two pathways (Launch Pad INL and Launch Pad U.S.A.) and requires applicants to meet eligibility thresholds and maintain active SAM.gov registration; DOE will not provide direct funding and selected participants will execute OTA or SPP agreements. The RFA is open continuously after an initial application round, with initial application deadlines for first-round consideration and an industry day scheduled for May 19, 2026.

The City of Munroe Falls, Ohio is requesting qualifications from interested and qualified Energy Savings Performance Contractors (ESCOs) for the implementation of a Guaranteed Energy Conservation Program pursuant to Ohio Revised Code 717.02. All qualified firms must submit qualifications documentation to James Bowery, Public Works Director, by 12:00 PM on July 27, 2026. This is a qualifications-based procurement for energy conservation services under Ohio's ESPC statute, not a grant program.

Energy Manager Program

Provide facilitation services to prioritize capital decarbonization projects for state campus district energy systems and recommend projects to the governor and legislature, b.Analyze barriers to agencies entering energy as a service contracts or participating in public-private partnerships. Provide recommendations to address barriers and a financial analysis describing how agencies could complete decarbonization projects.

Provide professional energy consulting services including preparation of an energy master plan and advisory services for electricity and natural gas. Work includes include the necessary research, data collection, analysis, coordination, and reporting to evaluate current and projected energy consumption and infrastructure. The consultant shall analyze historical usage, develop projections of future demand, and recommend energy efficiency, demand reduction, carbon reduction, and sustainability initiatives. The consultant shall identify energy conservation measures, renewable energy opportunities, and available funding sources including grants, loans, and incentives.

The Lansing Board of Water & Light (BWL) is soliciting proposals to perform evaluation, measurement, and verification (EM&V) of its Energy Optimization programs. The work covers residential (including income-qualified), commercial & industrial, small business, electrification, and other EO program types; the selected contractor will quantify annual gross kWh savings and provide timelines and milestones for each program. The solicitation specifies the evaluation period (Jan 1, 2027 through Jun 3, 2030) and requires proposals to be submitted via the BWL IonWave portal.

The City of Tampa's McKay Bay Waste to Energy (WTE) Facility intends to single-source SWECO Vibro-Energy equipment and OEM parts to support existing SWECO vibratory systems. The notice states only original equipment manufacturer parts and components can ensure satisfactory repairs and identifies SWECO Vibro-Energy as the single source. The solicitation was posted July 16, 2026 and responses are due July 21, 2026 at 3:00 PM Eastern Time.
