The Texas Department of Transportation is soliciting bids for a state-let construction contract for landscape development at various locations in Travis County. The project has an estimated cost of $500,263.00 and a completion period of 53 working days, including planting and maintenance. Bids are scheduled for the June 2026 TxDOT letting, and the solicitation is currently open for responses.

The Texas Department of Transportation issued a State-Let construction contract for landscape development along various highways in Williamson County, including IH 35, FM 972, US 79, and SH 95. The project has an estimated value of approximately $2,098,984.02 and a completion time of 129 working days. Bids are due by June 2, 2026, and official bidding information is available through the Electronic State Business Daily.

The General Services Administration (GSA), Public Buildings Service (PBS) intends to hire a construction contractor to perform Repair & Alteration (R&A) work with an optional Driveway Extension at the Alburg Springs Land Port of Entry (LPOE) in Vermont. The project will use Design-Bid-Build delivery, includes upgrades such as gates, guardrails, a new officer inspection booth, interior and MEP/security improvements, and must incorporate the existing historic facility. A pre-proposal conference/site visit is scheduled for May 6, 2026 and proposals are due June 15, 2026.

DESIGN-BUILD. From qualified design-build entities (“DBEs” or Firm(s)”) to perform design-build services as authorized by Education Code section 17250.60, et seq., for the design-build services required for the construction Employee Housing Project (“Project”). All prospective design-build entities that seek to contract with the District to perform the Project must respond to this RFQ/P. The selected Firm shall perform design and engineering services, (preparation of plans and technical specifications), preconstruction and construction services, installation, programming, field testing, training, and commissioning services (“Services”) at the former Roosevelt Elementary School Site District site(s) (“Site”) for the District’s employee workforce housing project. The employee workforce housing development will be comprised of two-story or three-story buildings with a total of 110 rental units to be made available to District staff. The Project will include a mix of one-, two-, three-, and four-bedroom units, totaling approx. 125,000 SF of gross residential building area, and approx. 170,000 SF of total gross building area including standalone garages and an amenity building. The District has completed the schematic design (entitlement plan set) for the project.

"DESIGN-BUILD" The main goal for this project is to provide a renovated LPOE with the addition of a driveway extension for CBP and GSA that will meet each agency’s requirements and allow for efficient operations. The R&A portion is needed to modernize the port, correct port deficiencies, and bring the LPOE up to current standards based on the Program of Requirements provided by GSA and CBP. The project will be completed in a way that will incorporate the existing Historic Facility, which is listed in the National Register of Historic Places. Major elements of the project will include gates and guardrails for primary passenger and commercial lanes, a new officer inspection booth, interior upgrades, such as all new floorplan, and new and upgraded MEP and Security. The driveway portion will address the security challenges at the LPOE with local traffic entering and exiting their residential properties directly in front of the port.

The Garland VA Medical Center is seeking to construct a new energy center to replace its outdated and noncompliant boiler plant and energy supply system. The project involves a design-build construction contract with an estimated total period of performance of 1,542 calendar days. This solicitation is a Sources Sought notice to identify capable contractors for the project lifecycle from design through construction.

Pittsburgh Water and Sewer Authority is soliciting qualified construction management and construction inspection (CM/CI) firms to provide private construction of public utilities management and inspection services under a task-order indefinite-delivery, indefinite-quantity contract, with task orders generally not to exceed $425,000 each. The contract term begins upon issuance of a Notice to Proceed for one year with up to four one-year extensions; firms must demonstrate relevant experience, financial stability, and required staffing, and the procurement encourages participation by MBE/WBE/SBE/VBE/DOBE/LGBTBE firms. Construction of new child development center. Construction of a new Child Development Center (16,632 SF) with adjacent outdoor play areas (16,667 SF) for children between the ages of 6 weeks and 5 years of age. Work will include installation of information systems, video monitoring, alarm and intercom systems. Heating and air conditioning will be provided by self-contained system. See attached file.

DESIGN BUILD: Requires the construction of a new, fully operational energy center to replace its outdated, noncompliant, and insufficient existing boiler and utility systems. The new energy center will be a single-story, stand-alone high-rise structure housing major mechanical, electrical, steam, chilled water, fuel oil, bulk oxygen, and standby power generation components.
