The Alaska Department of Health, Division of Behavioral Health is soliciting proposals to enhance the state's behavioral health crisis response continuum, including mobile crisis outreach and crisis stabilization supports. The solicitation is managed through the State’s GEMS grants portal, which contains full submission instructions and technical requirements. Proposals are being accepted through mid-April 2026 to support behavioral health infrastructure across the state.

Pierce County is seeking proposals to provide outpatient behavioral health services for indigent veterans and their families to promote recovery, stability, and long-term wellness while reducing reliance on crisis and inpatient care. The contract includes psychiatric evaluations, individual and group therapy, case management, and may be delivered in-person or via telehealth, prioritizing programs that integrate services for veteran family members and incorporate evidence-based suicide prevention strategies. The period of performance begins upon execution and runs through December 31, 2027, with funding sourced from local Behavioral Health and Veterans Relief funds.
