Purchase of a prefabricated modular steel vehicular bridge. The bridge shall have a clear roadway width of 24 FT and a center of bearing to center of bearing span length of 50 FT. Metal decking shall be structural and capable of supporting traffic loading and 6” of asphalt concrete pavement. Decking shall have a minimum thickness of 9-guage and shall be galvanized. Steel paving dams shall be provided along both edges of the bridge and shall extend at least 6 inches above the metal decking. Bridge railings shall be galvanized thrie beam with appropriate end sections and shall be designed to tl-2 or greater standards. Fabricated steel backwalls for each end of the bridge shall be provided and shall completely cover the end of the bridge girders and extend beyond the sides of the bridge to a minimum of 5 FT. All structural steel with the exception of the metal decking and backwall panel sheeting shall be weathering steel. Bearings and anchor bolts shall be included with the bridge.
