The 2025 Salisbury Open Space and Recreation Update Plan outlines a 10-year action plan to guide sustainable development, focusing on preserving natural resources, scenic quality, and rural character, and meeting the recreational needs of all town residents. Key goals include increasing water supply resources, protecting wetlands, reducing energy consumption, promoting awareness of open space issues, acquiring and developing new recreation sites, and participating in regional trail planning. The plan builds upon previous open space plans and incorporates public input from the Master Plan process of 2021-2022.
