Town of Hope

The agenda includes the election of the Chair and Vice-Chair of the Hope School Committee, adjustments to the agenda, and public comment. It also covers the possible signing of AP or Payroll warrants, approval of meeting minutes, and nominations for teaching positions and a stipend appointment for the Athletic Coordinator. The Hope Select Board held a meeting that included a presentation by Rubb Fabric Buildings. The Board convened as the Board of Assessors to approve the 2025 Municipal Valuation Return and grant several abatements. The Board also approved the October 14th Select Board minutes with edits and approved the Treasurers and Payroll Warrants. Additionally, the Hope Non-CDL Drug/Alcohol Testing Policy was approved, and the confirmation of several Seasonal Truck Driver/Laborer positions. There were discussions regarding the HES building, ambulance service, and the First Responder Program. The Select Board discussed a proposal to write a letter in protest of the requirement of general assistance for every municipality.
