Coordinate with the owner and electric utility company for a power outage, as required, to interrupt power to the fire pump branch circuit. Disconnect and remove the existing branch circuit wiring from the existing fire pump and jockey pump as indicated on the drawings. The existing fire alarm system "fire pump running," "fire pump trouble," and "fire pump power failure" alarm and trouble inputs into the existing fire alarm system will be interrupted as required to disconnect them from the existing fore pump controller and reconnect them to the new fire pump controller. Coordinate with the owner's central fire alarm central monitoring station and owner's fire alarm maintenance provider and include all provisions to temporarily disconnect, interrupt, and reconnect these alarm and trouble inputs to the new fire alarm controller without causing an alarm condition to the central station or fire department.
