Provide comprehensive environmental review services in compliance with the National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) and HUD's implementing regulations at 24 CFR Part 58, including all related federal laws and authorities listed in 24 CFR 58.5 and 58.6. Work will support one of the county's CDBG-DR-funded disaster recovery projects by determining the appropriate level of environmental review, conducting the appropriate level of environmental review, conducting environmental site assessments, coordinating agency consultations, and preparing all required documentation. Objects of the work are: a) Determine the appropriate level of environmental review for each site; b) evaluate the site for contaminants; c) assess potential environmental impacts of the proposed project; d) ensure compliance with all federal environmental and historic preservation requirements; e) prepare complete, defensible documentation for environmental review record; and f) complete the environmental review as swiftly as practicable.
