The plan involves collaboration between the student, their parent/guardian, counselors, administrators, teachers, and other school personnel. All students in grades 9-12 receive ICAP information, and starting with the class of 2020, ICAP completion is required for graduation. Annual updates are necessary, and the plan includes career/college interest surveys, postsecondary/workforce goals, course sequences, academic progress tracking (including remediation, AP/IB credits, and certifications), and experience in service learning or work environments.
