Sole Source: If the tech is proprietary/required for compatibility, work with Purchasing on a sole source; otherwise pivot back to a coop.
Coops: Start with a cooperative (OMNIA Partners, Sourcewell, or TIPS) to piggyback and move fast.
City of Yakima: Sole source is viable for proprietary technology. Position your product as unique and essential for compatibility with the City’s existing systems (the City has precedent with ESRI for GIS).
Process: Work directly with the City’s Purchasing Division to prepare the sole source justification.
