Y Avenue Water Main Looping RFP

Description: New water main will create a loop, improving water quality, as well as include 8 services to property owners on Y Avenue. The construction improvements include the construction of approx., 4,520 LF of trenched 6" water main, 460 LF of trenchless 6" water main, 8 water service connections, 5 fire hydrant assemblies, 6 valves, 2 connections to existing water main, 20 LF of 8" sanitary sewer removal and replacement, 390 LF of trenched storm sewer ranging from 12" to 36" in diameter, 151 SY of full depth HMA pavement patches, 417 SY of granular driveway and 86 SY of HMA driveway. Other associated improvements include fittings, traffic control, erosion control, surface restoration, and miscellaneous work necessary to complete the project. The alternate bid includes approx., 4,520 LF of trenched 8" water main and 460 LF of trenchless 8" water main as opposed to 6" water main. Other associated modifications include the replacement of 6" valves and fittings with 8" equivalents as necessary to complete the project.
