Waterline Replacement Engineering Design

Description: The City of Farmers Branch seeks qualifications from engineering firms to provide full design services for replacing about 2,984 linear feet of aging cast-iron waterline with PVC mains in a residential neighborhood. The scope includes surveying, environmental review, subsurface utility engineering, construction-document preparation, bidding assistance, construction administration, testing, disinfection, and as-built documentation. The project is partially funded by an EPA Region 6 Community Grant; submissions are due November 3, 2026, and a recommended pre-bid conference is scheduled for October 20, 2026.
