Vail Road Improvements

Description: Milling and resurfacing of Vail Road from Route 46 to Baldwin Road, including minor drainage improvements, resetting castings and limited curb and sidewalk repairs. Additionally, as an alternate bid, the replacement of the existing 6" water main with a new 12" DIP water main, including connections, service laterals, fire hydrants and associated appurtenances. Major estimated quantities are as follows: 22,510 SY Hot Mix Asphalt Milling, 3" or Less; 2,914 tons HMA 9.5M64 Surface Course, 2" Thick; 665 LF Concrete Curb; 665 SY Concrete Sidewalk, 4" Thick; 2,500 LF Ductile Iron Water Main 12” (Alternate Bid Item); 6 units 12" Gate Valves (Alternate Bid Item).
