Work includes removal and installation of new parking lot; road area in blue to be resurfaced is approx 34,200 SF; mill off existing asphalt to a depth of 6 inches with milling machine, the landfill will provide a area to dump all millings. Provide a smooth transition with the adjoining asphalt drives; base: a. Add additional aggregate to fill in any voids in the base. B. Grade base course evenly and compact to 100% c. Maintain a uniform surface on the base course until placement of asphalt surface is complete. Place a grade on areas that has any dips; asphalt surfacing: a. Install 4 inches of base and 2 inches of top coat. Total of 6" of asphalt. Repaint double yellow line on repaved surface. See attached file.
