The North Carolina Department of Transportation (NCDOT) issued an Invitation for Bid to establish an Agency Specific Term Contract for the supply of left-hand and right-hand disc brake pads for passenger railcars, specifying Bremskerl model #2050 or equivalent with required compliance to 49 CFR 238 and AAR Manual standards. The contract covers delivery of 1,800 units each of left- and right-hand brake pads, FOB Destination to NCDOT Capital Yard Maintenance Facility in Raleigh, NC, with delivery within 14 calendar days after receipt of purchase order and an initial term of three years. Vendors must be registered with the North Carolina Secretary of State, provide manufacturer authorization to distribute/resell, and meet HUB participation goals (10% utilization).
