Description: Scope of work: Remove existing asphalt between the top of the ramp and the recently completed concrete work at the rear of the dumping area; construct a new 40' side wall at the rear of the dumping area; install a dust control system that complies with NFPA Standards- NFPA 13(Standard for the Installation of Sprinkler Systems) and NFPA 850 (Recommended Practice for Fire Protection for Electric Generating Plants and High Voltage Direct Current Converter Stations) which covers solid waste facilities; dry pipe system to prevent pipes from busting during extreme weather; install lighting to cover the dumping area.

Provide comprehensive services in support of a voluntary childcare lead testing and reduction grant program, including developing, hosting, and maintaining program-specific websites includes communicating lead water testing results from participating facilities and relevant public health information to stakeholders, including parents, staff, and the broader community; creating, managing, and maintaining a test results database, website, and/or a data visualization platform to publicly share tested facility information and results; providing training to participating facilities on the risks of lead exposure, testing protocols, and program participation requirements; mailing out test sampling kits to facilities, coordinating chain of custody, ensuring that samples are submitted to certified laboratories from the facilities, receiving laboratory test results for the facilities, and sharing the test results with the facilities; requiring that all facilities lead sampling and analysis utilizes epa-recommended protocols and certified laboratories. Installation of concrete dumpster pad at the School Central Office to include: Coordinate with Waste Management Company to relocate dumpsters during installation and to put the dumpsters back when the pad is ready. Remove and dispose of asphalt, roadbed and curbing as needed. Provide and install 4 FT tall, 6" dia., concrete filled steel bollards to protect fence behind dumpster. Bollards to be painted with yellow traffic paint. Provide and install 4-6" of compacted stone or gravel subgrade. Provide and install appropriate rebar mat or wire mesh as needed to properly reinforce concrete. Install 6" minimum of 4,000 psi concrete. Pad must be large enough for dumpster to sit on and service truck front wheels to be on the pad when servicing dumpster. Installed materials must meet or exceed the following: Broom finished concrete finished so that edges of pad are flush with surrounding surfaces. All joints to be sealed to prevent water intrusion. Pad to be sloped at least 1% but not more than 2% to facilitate proper drainage.
