Central Office Dumpster Pad (Request for Proposal)

Description: Installation of concrete dumpster pad at the School Central Office to include: Coordinate with Waste Management Company to relocate dumpsters during installation and to put the dumpsters back when the pad is ready. Remove and dispose of asphalt, roadbed and curbing as needed. Provide and install 4 FT tall, 6" dia., concrete filled steel bollards to protect fence behind dumpster. Bollards to be painted with yellow traffic paint. Provide and install 4-6" of compacted stone or gravel subgrade. Provide and install appropriate rebar mat or wire mesh as needed to properly reinforce concrete. Install 6" minimum of 4,000 psi concrete. Pad must be large enough for dumpster to sit on and service truck front wheels to be on the pad when servicing dumpster. Installed materials must meet or exceed the following: Broom finished concrete finished so that edges of pad are flush with surrounding surfaces. All joints to be sealed to prevent water intrusion. Pad to be sloped at least 1% but not more than 2% to facilitate proper drainage.
