The work session included the Superintendent's report and various department updates covering construction and maintenance, finance, and human resources. The agenda also included a review of the upcoming business meeting and provided an opportunity for public participation.

Additional actions involved the surplus and sale of buses and service vehicles, discontinuation of a school nutrition breakfast program, and renewal of various services including waste removal, pest control, and facility maintenance.

The public hearing meeting was convened to allow for comments regarding the proposed millage rate.

The board discussed the formation and implementation of the Bartow County Tax Allocation District #3: Highway 411 Corridor. Key topics included a financial analysis of the potential school system local revenues from the Aubrey Site development, estimated impacts on student population, and a resolution regarding the board's consent to include its ad valorem taxes in the computation of tax allocation increments for the district.
