Work will include the installation of a new ductless split system in the elevator control room, the installation of a new sump pump in a new elevator sump pit, and the installation of a new elevator and shaft within the building. The elevator shaft will be 8" reinforced concrete masonry unit walls. The shaft will be located adjacent to an existing load bearing CMU wall. Shoring of the wall will be required for installation of the elevator pit.

Scope: control water and divert stream flows during construction, construct and install six devices over 700 feet. Device 1 is a brush revetment. Device 2 is approx. 220 feet of modified mudsill. Device 3 is a log frame deflector over 60 feet. Device 4 is a rock vane. Device 5 is approx. 120 feet of modified mudsill. Device 6 is a rock cross vane.

Work generally includes mobilization/ demobilization, construction of off-loading pad, restoration of existing boat ramp for marine access, and placement of turbidity curtains, and open water transport and installation of pre-constructed ultra reef balls for breakwater shoreline protection at rookery islands a and b. Additive alternate no. 1 includes placement of turbidity curtains and open water transport and installation of pre-constructed ultra reef balls for breakwater shoreline protection at rookery island c. Additive alternate no. 2 includes construction of an alternate access road. No dredging activities are permitted for this project. Seagrass shall not be damaged or impacted as part of this project.
