HVAC Renovation for Municipal Justice and Public Safety Center

Description: The City of Huntsville is soliciting sealed bids for a comprehensive HVAC renovation of its Municipal Justice and Public Safety Complex. The scope of work includes replacement of boilers, chillers, pumps, cooling towers, an energy plant and associated piping; replacement of VAV boxes, air handler units, VFDs and associated controls; replacement of exhaust fans; and replacement of various pipe gaskets, roof connections and electrical components. The building must remain open and functional during the 720-day contract, with major equipment replacements phased during off-seasons.
