HSIP Cycle 11 - City Wide Safety Improvement Project
The project will install a combination of engineering safety countermeasures and upgrade the existing traffic signal system throughout the city. The project scope includes installation of back-plates with retroreflective borders, upgrade signal lenses and head, replacement of controllers and battery backup system. Description: 1 LS of mobilization; 1 LS of traffic control; 2 EA of furnish and install ATC cabinet with battery backup system on existing foundation; 27 EA of furnish and install McCain flex traffic signal controller; 36 EA of furnish and install battery backup system; 1512 EA of furnish and install yellow bordered signal backplate; 61 EA of furnish and install traffic signal head with yellow bordered signal backplate and mounting; 29 EA of furnish and install pedestrian traffic signal head and mounting.
