Description: Furnace creek tank metals rehabilitation for the authority's furnace creek tank. The work includes installing a riser on the tank inlet with 4" drilled holes to disburse water as a static mixer, replacing the tank ladder, installing a new 30" manway, replacing the roof vent, installing safety cables on the ladder, and reconfiguring the overflow discharge with a proper air gap including a duckbill check valve, reducer (acting as a funnel following the air gap), and a flapper valve above the concrete splashpad.
