Civil Service Examination (Request for Proposal)

Description: Provide city agencies with a steady pool of qualified candidates for hiring consideration into a variety of titles, including those that affect public safety, and to: establish eligible lists based on validated civil service examinations; change, as appropriate, based on thorough job analyses, the jurisdictional classification of job titles by broadbanding, consolidating or reclassifying from the competitive class to the non-competitive class; develop skill and competency-based assessments based on a thorough job analysis as another pathway for candidates to demonstrate they possess the skills or competencies for a civil service examination.
