New York City Landmarks Preservation Commission Public Hearing And Public Meeting
The Commission held a public hearing and meeting to discuss applications for work on designated properties. One application involved the reconstruction and modification of a rowhouse facade, including a rear yard addition and shed at 309 President Street, for which approval was granted with modifications regarding the preservation of existing upper floor masonry. The meeting also addressed a hardship application for the demolition of the West Park Presbyterian Church, discussing the four factors of the statutory hardship test and reviewing information provided by independent consultants.
