Description: Sealed bids will be received in person by the City of Sulphur at 600 W Broadway Sulphur, OK 73086, until 10:00 A.M. on November 30, 2026 for the following needs of the City, to wit: Purification Chamber (Part # 080145) for a Bauer Cascade System MVT10H (Installation shall be done by a current Bauer Distributor Certified Technician.) Bids are due on November 30, 2026 at 10:00 A.M., at which time said bids will be opened and read aloud. Bid awarding will be by the Sulphur City Council on December 14, 2026 at 6:00 p.m. The bid opening and bid awards are open to the public. The owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids, waive any irregularities of technicalities without assigning any reason therefore, and to make the awards in the best interest of the Owner. Bids are solicited and a contract award will be made pursuant to the Public Competitive Bidding Act of 1974 as amended (Title 61, O.S. 1981, Sections 101-136 et seq.) No bidder may withdraw his bid within 45 days after the actual date of opening thereof. Bidders shall fully inform themselves of the nature of the work and conditions under which it will be performed. The Contractor shall adopt methods consistent with good construction practices and shall take all necessary precautions to prevent damage to the existing building, property and right of way. Any damage due to the Contractor's negligence shall be repaired at the Contractor's expense to the satisfaction of the City's Representative. The price bid on ALL items shall include all training, materials, labor, equipment and incidentals, including maintenance bond, payment bond and performance bond, necessary to complete the work. Bidders must have a current State of Oklahoma commercial licenses and required company information on file with the State of Oklahoma. Fuel shall be bid on delivered basis to each location. Bidder shall deliver fuel within 24 hours or sooner after receiving the order (excluding weekends and holidays). 2. Diesel fuel shall be Ultra-Low or Dyed Diesel and shall be of quality for use in trucks, tractors, equipment, and mowers. 3. Gasoline shall be Unleaded Regular and have a minimum octane rating of 87. 4. Gasoline shall not contain more than 10% or whatever maybe required for this area of alcohol, gasohol, methanol additives, substitute or blends. Fuel, gasoline or diesel shall not be contaminated with any foreign matter or impurities such as water, dirt, trash, etc. Bidder will be disqualified as a supplier to the City of Hallettsville if any of the above additives are found. 5. The Contractor to whom the bid is awarded must label all fuel tanks and supply the City with material safety data sheets. 6. Bids should include State Taxes (stated separately) for gasoline and ULS diesel fuel, and exclude taxes for dyed diesel fuel. 7.
